The first TEN people to comment in this post get to request a drabble of any pairing/character of their choosing from me.* In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability level.

Note: I'd like to keep this limited to either RP characters (Susan/Romy/Sam/Miles/Bishop/Callum/Cassandra/Emma/Reilly/Graham) or D/G. Because that's what I know.

(Yeah, yeah, I know I bailed on the last round. I promise to do better this time.)

1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.

I was tagged by [ profile] autumnrhythm30 to do this on Sylar.

1. Do you like this character?

'Like' is probably not the right word. I want to hug him and make him better.

2. What name/s do you call this character?

Sylar when he's being evil. Gabriel when I think he's a misunderstood woobie.

3. What image-color do you associate with this character?

4. What image-song do you associate with this character?

*blink* Um... The only thing I associate with Sylar, really, is Elle (Kristen Bell). I don't have a song for him.

5. What blood-type do you think this character is?

Seriously? O+? I have no idea.

6. Of all of the titles to that this character appears in, what character do you like to put this character with?

Gabriel & Elle!

7. What would you want to say to this character?

If I had the guts to stick around long enough to say anything, I'd probably try to convince him he didn't have to be evil.

8. Which do you want to do with this character: Shake hands, hug, or kiss?

If my safety was guaranteed, I'd hug him. Then maybe kiss him.

9. Please choose 6 friends with your choice of character.

I don't tag, but if you comment that you want to play, I'll give you a character. :D
1) Comment to this and I will give you 3 people.
2) Post this meme with your answers.
3) Provide pictures and the names of 3 people.
4) Label which you would marry, shag, and throw off a cliff.

[ profile] rainpuddle13 gave me Draco Malfoy, Neville Longbottom, and Charlie Weasley.

Marry, shag, and take the long drop! )
After my rant, something lighter.

Put your player on shuffle, answer each question with the title of the song that pops up, no matter how little sense it makes. Woot.

I'm not sure how I managed to be my own best commenter. Either I goofed this up, or it somehow counted my posts, too. Ah well, if I won't talk to myself, who will?

I cheat when I do this each year, but for good reason. It's under a cut because my life is just as dull the second time around. Here's the synopsis: My daughter's silly and I live for memes, quizzes, and RPGs.

Kate's year in review )

And as a New Year's gift, I'm taking prompts for one-sentence fics. (I promise I'll actually do these.) Leave me a prompt and a character or two from Potterverse and I'll write a one-sentence fic. If you're not familiar with them, you can see some examples here:

Happy New Year, everybody!

Meme below )

I finally started Breaking Dawn yesterday. I'm about halfway through. I like it so far, although it's not what I expected. Believability is stretched pretty thin, but the story's okay and Jacob's being made out as less of an ass, so I'm good.

I was supposed to visit my mom today to go over some financial stuff, but she and Kenny have been sick so I'm staying away. Violent upchucking is not on my 'to-do' list.

My other brother, Chris, should be in town towards the end of the week. He spends most of his time up here running around with friends, but I'm sure I'll see him before he leaves.

Mer went to New York with her aunt and soon-to-be uncle this weekend. This is at least her second trip up there. This kid gets to go all sorts of places I haven't been. I need to travel more.
(and if you know what Facts in Five is, I hearby dub you awesome.)

Use the 1st letter of your name to answer each of the following...They MUST be real places, names, things...NOTHING made up! If you can't think of anything, skip it. Try to use different answers if the person in front of you had the same 1st initial. You CAN'T use your name for the boy/girl name question.

Other things accomplished this weekend:

- Bought Mer a car. It's a 2002 (not 2001 as I previously thought) Kia Spectra hatchback. She likes it, the mileage is not horrible, it gets great gas mileage, and it was within my budget. We managed to do the car shopping/buying thing in less than two hours, which thrilled me to pieces. Here's hoping the car stays in one piece.

- Traded in Mer & my cell phones. We had the Samsung Glydes, and the sensors for the touch screens kept goofing up. Since it was still within 30 days, we were able to trade them for different models. I now have an LG enV2 and she has a something something 9400.

- Finished at least one scene, and have worked on a couple others.

- Bought Miss Pettigrew Lives For a Day. I've watched it three times already. Love that movie.

That's about it, really.

Happy almost Six Monthiversary, [ profile] si_muove.

I don't want to go back to work tomorrow.

You Are 38% Evil

A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.

In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.

So I went a little quiz happy )
(And yes, I just used that icon to show it off.)

Snagged from [ profile] mynuet. And like Mynuet, the character list is heavily weighted towards characters from my RPs.

1) Make a list of fifteen characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment. (That way you're not leading the questions asked to fit the characters.)

2) Ask your flist to post questions in the comments.

For example:

'One, Nine and Fifteen are chosen by a prophecy to save the world from Four. Do they succeed?'
'Under what circumstances might Five and Seven fall in love?'
'Which character on the list would you most want on your side in a zombie invasion?'
'Write a drabble in which Three and Five FIGHT CRIME.' (...possibly not technically a question.)

3)After your flist has asked enough questions, round them up and answer them using the fifteen characters you selected beforehand, then post them.

Okay, ask me questions!

So, Vicky made a comment that Susan would score as the same goddess that I did, Hestia. This got me curious. So, below the cut are the goddess results for all my rpg females. Yes, I am that lame.

Is anyone really surprised? No? Me neither. )

Your result for The Perception Personality Image Test...

HFPS - The Humanitarian

You perceive the world with particular attention to humanity. You focus on what's in front of you (the foreground) and how that fits into the larger picture. You are also particularly drawn towards the shapes around you. Because of the value you place on humanity, you tend to seek out other people and get energized by being around others. You like to deal directly with whatever comes your way without dealing with speculating possibilities or outcomes you can't control. You are in tune with all that is around you and understand your life as part of a larger whole. You prefer a structured environment within which to live and you like things to be predictable.

1. Bold the names of guys you'd definitely shag.
2. Italicize the names of guys you might shag after a little persuasion.
3. Leave the guys who don't do anything for you alone.
4. Put a question mark after the guys you've never heard of.
5. Strike the guys you wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole.
