... So there I am, reading a fluffy D/G fic recommended by a friend, and then all of a sudden - BAM! - the story turns out to be H/G and I'm feeling the need to slap a friend upside the head. :P

Yeah, I knew that was coming. It's not H/G REALLY. It's D/G tragedy. There's a difference. *ducks again* I just appreciate the skill it took to write a story that so thoroughly suckers the reader. I couldn't write a warning without ruining the twist.

I promise the other one is Honest-to-God D/G, free of tragic endings. Davesmom writes great fluff. My favorite of hers, The Weasel and the Kneazle, is a WIP that I'm starting to fear she will abandon.

Well, there's not a whole lot of story left to actually tell, imo, but she seems to think that there is and needs to be set up. *shrug* To each their own, I guess.
