I'm still here, honest

I've been a little scarce this weekend - not like me at all! Fear not, though, I'm not dead. I got a new computer (so did Urs!). I also got the new Sims 2 expansion pack. And I'm a huge geek. 'Nuff said.

I have a high def monitor now. Things look SO pretty (in the land of the Sims). Squee.

I have a 200GB hard drive. Squee.

I am not yet hooked up to our DSL - I have to dial up at the moment. Boo.

I got a new printer/fax/copier/scanner/blender. Er, well, maybe not that last part. That would be nice, though. I haven't hooked it up yet because I'm still using the filing cabinet as a desk. Meh.

In addition to getting the 'bundle' price from Best Buy, I also got a $100 gift card because the model computer I bought is discontinued and I took the one on display.

Now I just have to move my crap off of James' computer and onto this one. We'll both be happy about that.

Oh, I also bought Artemis Fowl 4 & 5. Haven't gotten very far yet. See above RE: Sims 2.

*waves* Glad to see you're alive, dear. And I think you should invent the printer/fax/copier/scanner/blender. And perhaps add a coffeemaker. You'd be rich instantly.

Ooh... the Sims 2 is my crack. But I don't think I should say more, because then I'll start playing it, and will then never complete my paper.

See?? I am slowly and diligently catching up! :D! I missed a lot in those few days! You got a new computer, too?? wheeeee!! Except I don't know what I'm doing...*sigh*. I have done quite a bit, but I am going to have to rely on my brother this coming weekend...*crosses fingers he comes*. My new monitor came in yesterday. And the new printer is here, too. I just need to get it all set up! :O!!
