I got tagged by snickerchick

1. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
2. Tag seven people to do the same.
3. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag whoever wants to do it.

I'm ignoring the last part of rule #3 because everyone is so busy right now. I'm not going to tag anyone, but feel free to do it!

1) I put mayo on my peanut butter and banana sandwiches. I like it that way, it's creamier and doesn't stick to your mouth as much.

2) I am a terrible housekeeper. My place is (almost) always a mess. People always say, "Oh, it can't be that bad!" Yes, it really, really can.

3) Not often, but once in awhile it annoys me if I step on a sidewalk crack with only one foot, and I'll go out of my way to step on one with the other foot in the same spot. That way the feel 'even'. I don't expect anyone else to understand that. It's a rare moment of OCD.

4) I got my first job at the age of 14. I worked at Pizza Tyme, which no longer exists. My boyfriend was one of the assistant managers. I made $4.00/hr when I started there. Minimum wage was $3.75.

5) The first career I ever wanted was 'candy cane maker'. I was about four at the time and didn't understand about factory work. My second career aspiration was to become a writer. That one never entirely went away.

6) The only (adult) person I truly believe is 100% sincere in his affection and admiration of me is my brother-in-law, Richard. That doesn't mean I think other folks don't like me. He's just the only one I never feel is just being nice or sparing my feelings.

7) Occasionally I'll buy hair color and then not use it. I'll decide at the store that it would be fun to change my color, and then get home and talk myself out of it because I might not like it, or it will take too long to grow out, or some other whiny worry. I think I have three kinds of color sitting in my bathroom at the moment.
