Book Meme snagged from Ayla

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.

Hmm, let's see if you can guess what these two are talking about. I'm actually posting a couple extra sentences because this passage cracks me up.

"How would I know, I've never been married."

"Is it always the same for you?"

"Well, in some ways, yes."

"In what ways?"

"Well, so far, it seems to be moist."

"Moist?"

"Yeah, but I can't say it's always that way, just in my experience. Maybe we should ask a harlot?"

"Better yet," Joshua said, looking around, "I'll ask Titus. He's older, and he looks as if he's sinned a lot."

This exerpt is from 'Lamb - The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal' by Christopher Moore. I love this book.

Didn't even need to get to the bottom to figure it out. I love this book but I haven't read it in ages. Still makes me laugh out loud and not many books can do that.

I absolutely love Christopher Moore!!!! I just finished "A Dirty Job", and even though it's completely different form "Lamb" it's just as funny. Have you read it?
