Loaded Questions

Has anyone here ever played Loaded Questions?  It's a very funny game.  I <3 it dearly.  Anyway, this actually happened quite awhile ago, but I was just remembering it and it made me laugh, so I thought I'd share.  I'm sure that in text format it will not be as funny as it was in person, but at the time we laughed so hard we were all crying.

So, my brother-in-law Richard was the question asker and his wife Tracey, James and I were the ones answering.  Richard posed the question:

"What is the worst thing you can call someone?"

The answers were very telling.

I, as a woman, have a serious issue with some vulgar words used to refer to my sex and my genetalia, so my answer was, "The 'C' word."

James, my conservative-nearly-to-the-point-of-being-confederate husband, responded, "A liberal."

Tracey, being fairly literal minded and endearingly quirky, gave BY FAR the best answer.

She said, "Bob."

*laughs* Nice. Sounds like that one would be fun to play with my friends. We would certainly get interesting answers.

We're big on playing games. Loaded Questions, Beyond Balderdash, Scattergories, Cashflow, Facts in Five, Scrabble, Boggle, Wyatt Earp. Whenever we get together we end up pulling at least one game out. It's nice, and the kids can play some of them with us. We avoid Trivial Pursuit, though, because James knows freakin' everything.

First thing that came to my mind was 'Ralph'. Looks like Tracey and I are on the same wavelength. *g*

Balderdash and Scattergories are my absolute favorites! We play at least once a week.

BTW, how much are you charging for rental space? Emmie and I are quite small. ;-)

I adore Scattergories. I have Beyond Balderdash, I'm not sure if I've ever played the origina, but I love that one. It's one of the few games I can win. Having a genius as a husband can be a bit of a downer at times.

The rental arrangement is as follows: There can be no comment conversations on Kate's LJ without payment of at least one comment TO KATE from each participant. *nods*

I think we have come to an understanding. However, I may first have to go over the details with my compatriot. Please hold for further inquiry.

I await your reply with great anticipation. *g*

I assume you've already noticed, but Emmie and I have agreed to comply with your terms and conditions. *winks*

I love that game!

I love the name Bob! I call everything Bob. Or George. Or Fred. Sometimes Steve...

I love Bob the Tomato. And Fred and George Weasley. I'm stuck on Steve...

I named a really really cute chipmunk and school Steve.

I'd rather be called a cunt than a liberal *shudders at the thought*

I'm trying to steer clear of either one. *g*
