List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your livejournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.
Birdhouse in Your Soul by They Might Be Giants
She's Always a Woman by Billy Joel
Closer by NIN
Highwayman by Johnny Cash
I'll Fly Away by Alison Krauss and Gillian Welch
This is Not a Love Song by PIL
Walking on a Wire by Lowen & Navarro
I'm not going to tag anyone specifically because several of my LJ friends have already been tagged and at least one is on vacation. Do it if you want to.
Because I want to, I'm going to list a few more songs that I'm into at the moment.
I Will Follow by U2
Peek-A-Boo by Siouxsie & the Banshees
Teenage Enema Nurses in Bondage by Killer Pussy (still searching for an mp3 of this)
I Know What Boys Like by The Waitresses
Detachable Penis by King Missile
Toast by Heywood Banks
Make a Circuit With Me by The Polecats
Rocket Queen by GNR
Mother by Danzig (heard it this morning - yay for Sirius!)
99 Luftballoons by Nena (NOT the English version - which sucks)
Angel Eyes by Jim Brickman (hooray for piano solos!)
Right Where I Need to Be by Gary Allan
Flowers on the Wall by Eric Heatherly
Bust-A-Move by Young MC (shut up)
Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus
88 Lines About 44 Women by The Nails
Guyana Punch by The Judys
I'm a Believer by The Monkees or Smashmouth - I'm not picky
Anything by the Beatles
Anything by the Everly Brothers
D&D by Stephen Lynch
Awful by Hole
Denis and X Offender by Blondie
Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin
This is Radio Clash by The Clash
My Band by D12
New Moon on Monday by Duran Duran
Insensitive by Jann Arden
I Saw Her Again Last Night by The Mamas & the Papas
Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode
Ok, that's all I'll do right now. I got a little carried away. Screw it, it's my LJ - I'll post what I want.
In other news, I'm convinced that there is a cosmic force that makes the coffee machine run out of something whenever I get near it. Also, I brought my iPod to work, but I left the ear buds at home. *sigh*
Did I mention that we got a letter from the Honolulu police? They recovered Meredith's purse. It is probably without the cash she was carrying, but a nice surprise all the same. I just have to contact them so they'll send it to us.
