One of my wall neighbors has brought her toddler to work today. She is keeping him occupied with a toy that plays the Muppet theme loudly. Over and over and over.
One of my project managers is trying to tell me my financial is wrong, and copying the Ops Manager on the emails in which he argues with me. All this despite my overwhelming evidence that I am not wrong, he is just a moron. An out-of-town moron who couldn't be bothered to have this conversation yesterday when he was HERE. This is the same PM who likes to deal with my manager rather than me or any of the other peons in Project Control. You know, he's above us and all that.
One bright spot in my day - I stopped for coffee this morning and the register was acting up. They needed to reboot it, so they just gave me my coffee for free.
The child is crying now. Not that I don't understand the occasional necessity of bringing a child to work with you, I do. I've even done it myself. I just really, really wish I had a thicker wall. Or my iPod. Why didn't I bring my iPod? Why???

It is 5:03 on the eve of Thanksgiving. Only the janitors and I remain at the office. Wah!
