So, most everyone knows how much I love bisty_icons by now. I've been playing around, trying to make icons in a similar style. She's got that vintage look down and is all kinds of awesome. Mine are less awesome and not really vintage-looking at all. At any rate, the point is that I've made a few different icon styles, and if any of you would like me to personalize one or more for you, drop me a comment and I will.

I actually might have one made for you already. I went a little nuts tonight.

Other items of note (or that I feel like sharing, noteworthy or not):

- Today is my 11th wedding anniversary. Obviously didn't celebrate it, as James and I are separated.
- Went to see Iron Man with Mom, Kenny, James, and Mer. Enjoyed it, although I'm not as rapturous over it as a lot of people.
- Elephants have moved in above me. Graceless elephants. Wish they would learn how to walk without shaking the freaking building. Seriously, I never heard my previous upstairs neighbors. The new ones are clomping around 24/7. Annoying. Might have to say something.
- I do not understand the appeal of Rod Stewart. Can't stand his music.
- I'm out of milk again. I bought two gallons last weekend. Apparently we are some serious milk drinkers. Not really a surprise. Ovaltine FTW!
- I think I'm going to take a 401K loan and pay off the personal loan I have. On the one hand, I hate to deplete my 401K, but on the other hand, it's trading a ridiculously high interest rate for a very low one. The 401K loan is repaid directly out of my paycheck in an amount of time I get to select, AND it doesn't show up on my credit report. Not to mention that I'm paying the interest to myself, essentially, with a 401K loan. Decision: Benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
- I want to scene more. Who wants to scene with me? In Caliga I've got Susan, Romy, Miles, and Sam. In Muove I've got Susan, Romy, and Emma. They're all looking at you with puppy eyes. Play with them.
- Speaking of scening, I'm planning to audition another Caliga character. Yeah, I know. I know.
- Continuing to speak of RPGs, if you aren't playing, are you reading? Why not? Go, read. It's fun! caliga_rpg and si_muove_rpg. Check 'em out.
- Need to send out snail mail. Badly. Am a bad friend.

Why? I had pictures. I actually have a lot more pictures, but I ran out of steam.

Random icons of Caliga VRs. Mainly mine, of course, but some others, too. Nothing super special, as my Photoshop skills mainly involve cropping and minor color adjustment.

I've got Michael (Gaspard Ulliel), Justin (Jason Dohring), Miles, (Jude Law), Cormac (James Marsden), Romy (Kim Kardashian), Sam (Neve Campbell), Susan (Natalie Portman), and a few Susan/Oliver (Jake Gyllenhaal) just because there were pictures of them together. >.>

So, I went on an icon finding spree tonight and picked up a gazillion awesome ones. I'm freakin' giddy.

Also, just over two weeks until The Sweet Far Thing, sequel to A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels, comes out! Woo! Mine's pre-ordered!

ETA 2: It is a dangerous thing to listen to an iPod at work. While I have restrained myself from actually singing aloud, someone just poked their head into my office while I was emphatically mouthing 'GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE!' Hee. Whoops.

I'm spamming my flist to apologize to the folks on my lucius_augustus flist for all the posts. I'm still not done (Anniversary & Loyalties still need to go up), so bear with me as I get all my fics loaded please.

I'm also spamming to show off the fabby icons heyurs directed me to find. It's made by fading_melody and she has a fantastic variety of fictional boyfriends/fictional lesbian girlfriends/fictional manwhores/fictional friends. I've requested a Bill Compton one, though I am the only Bill supporter I know.

Well, the dryer is done de-wrinkling my clothes. I'd better go to work. The question is now: Do I stop for Starbucks, or save the money and avoid the fat content? I'll decide at the pertinent intersection.
