I spent four hours in a meeting this afternoon, occasionally dozing. Why do they schedule these things for right after lunch? Bah. Anyway, when I wasn't drifting off, I was staring at the guy running the meeting. Since he was talking, it didn't seem odd for me to be staring at him, but really what I was staring at was his nose. It was perfectly straight. Seriously, it was perfect. There was no bump at the top or anything, just slope that could be used as a straight edge. I found it oddly fascinating.
A guy I work with has his speakerphone up REALLY loud. I can hear his entire conversation. I'll have to tease him about it later. His office is all the way around the corner from mine!
That reminds me of the Bud Lite commercial I heard today. It was the 'Real Men of Genius' salute to Mr. Really Loud Cell Phone Talker Guy (or something like that). Funny - I love those commercials. "Did I mention I'm important?" Yeah. Budweiser makes great ads.
I'd like to congratulate my Lucius and Narcissa Sims on the arrival of Draco. He's a very content baby and Lucy and Cissy are soooo in love. Yay!
Has anyone else played around with the Sim characters in Veronaville? I put Regan Capp and her husband what's-his-name in a house; her brother Kent lives with them. The deal is that Kent has a thing for Biance Monty. She likes him back but the rest of the Capp and Monty clans are really unhappy about it. Poor Kent gets shit from all sides. His brother-in-law keeps poking him in the chest and the Monty patriarch and matriarch totally kicked his ass for no reason. That guy's got it rough. In fact, the whole populus of Veronaville seems to be a bit whacked out. I created a family there and the patriarch of the Capp family came running into their house and just started yelling at the teenage son. They'd never even met before. Oberon Summerdream knocked over their trash can. Veronaville is a violent town. What a bunch of freaks!
Ok, time to go home. Bye guys!
