Grrrrr!

In a debate thread I've been participating in, a woman got very upset with someone for calling the discussion 'amusing'. She took it that he was making fun of her opinion specifically. I countered that amusing simply means 'diverting, distracting and entertaining' and that I saw no reason to get offended.

This got her all hot at me and she proceded to post messages that had foul language, insinuated that I am sadistic and clueless and proceeded to tell me she fully expected an apology from me. (Expect in one hand and crap in the other, lady. See which fills up first.) Before I could respond that she was the one making personal attacks, not me, the mods locked the thread. How very frustrating!
