I really want to go to bed right now, but I cannot. Instead, I must stay up and wait for the Claritin to kick in (PLEASE kick in!). It sucks, in ways I can't even begin to express. This HAD been a fairly easy season, but I got too cocky and kept the windows open all weekend. Stupid Kate. I hate allergies. *sniffle* *sneeze*
I realized recently that when I saved all my files to CD before James wiped it, I neglected to save all the Photoshop brushes and textures I had made, as well as those I had downloaded. The downloads aren't a real big deal. I can find them again if I really want them. It irks me that I didn't remember to save the ones I created, though. Not that they were great, but they took quite a bit of time and effort. Oddly enough, I did remember to save all the fonts I'd downloaded. At least that's something.
I got my hair chopped off. It's very short now. I think I like it, but I'm not 100% sold on the style yet.
For some reason, James brought home a brochure for a 'body treatment center'. I've been looking at the laser hair removal prices. The cheapest thing to remove is upper lip hair @ $89/session or $356 for five sessions. I guess you have to do it multiple times for it to be permanent. Eyebrows, chin, side burns, cheeks, ears, feet and hands are each slightly more. $99/session or $396 for the package. Underarms are $119/ea. or $476/package. Getting both legs done top to bottom is going to run $499/ea. or $1996/package. To be completely hairless from head to toe (presumably NOT including scalp, as that is not listed as a separate item) is $2499/ea. or $9996/package. How many razors would you have to buy to spend $10K? I mock this, even as I wish for a spare $500 so that I never need shave my armpits again.
Claritin is beginning to work. I'm off to dream of hairlessness.
