Argh

Meredith just called to ask me to come pick her up after I get off work. I had been under the impression her dad, or a member of his household, would be bringing her home. Apparently not. Now I've got to drive all the way out to Centreville from McLean, and then all the way home. What's an extra hour or so of commute time? It's not like I wanted to go home or anything, right? And once I get home, we've got to get the trash and recycling together.

I need to finish my story for Pud's challenge by Friday. I also need to do the banner for the monthly BA challenge by Friday. I need to drop out of the MNFF summer school because I just don't have the time for it. I've got to pack up my office and move the crap to my new office - after figuring out how to fit it all in the truck, since I can't put the boxes in the bed if it's raining. I've got to finish typing up the 'how-to' sheets for the girl taking over my contract. Oh, and I probably ought to pay some bills. The creditors tend to like payments.

Ok, enough whinging. I'd better go so I can get Meredith and make it home at something resembling a reasonable time.
