So. Meredith stayed out way too late last night, causing me to stay up way too late last night, and get pissed off in the bargain.
I woke up with a killer migraine, which thankfully departed with a little medicinal prompting. I've had headaches every day since I got my temporary crown. I think it must not be seated well. Now the big debate - do I suffer through until the 14th, when I get my permanent crown, or go in now and take more time off work? I'd have to see Dr. Hulbert because Dr. Ellington is on vacation next week.
My lack of sleep, headache, desire for Starbucks, and procrastination led me to not arrive at work until 10:40. I've said it before and I'll say it again, thank God for flexible schedules. Now that I'm here, I have an issue with one of my projects that I can't resolve until I talk to Becky and get some information. She's not here today, so I'm stuck and frustrated. On the other hand, maybe I'll be able to work on some fic this afternoon since I can't make progress on my actual work.
I'm starving, but I feel like I ought to wait until my boss leaves to go pick up Chick-Fil-A. (Hooray for sweet tea!) She should be heading out to a doctor's appt shortly, so it's all good. I can't believe I just used that expression. *shakes head*
