Ok, between last night and early afternoon today, I read all of Slytherin's Bride. *grin* It's awesome. I can't wait for the wrap-up chapter. Really, squee.
In the realm of things unsqueeful, the A/C at my house is not working. I called the rental company today and they are supposed to have a repair company come out today or tomorrow. Given that it is now after 5:00 in the afternoon, I'm guessing it will be tomorrow. So, another very warm evening for the Wilson household (Although, technically, Meredith is not a Wilson. She's part of the household, though, so you know, it still works.)
Tomorrow I'm supposed to watch the kids for Richard and Tracey again. I don't know what time, though, so I'll have to get that sorted pretty quickly. Meredith has a tournament, which is blessedly located within walking distance of her dad's house. So tonight I'll probably tote her over there so that I don't have to get up super early to have her at the field by 8:15 tomorrow morning. Then the question is do I want to go watch her first game? It's at 9:00. The next one is at 1:00, I believe, and I'm fairly certain I can't make that due to the babysitting thing. I always feel badly when I miss her games, but I have a feeling I may be watching the kids until late tomorrow night, and I just don't know if I can be on the go ALL DAY. I'll have to see once I talk to Richard and Tracey.
I changed my long distance plan today. Now I have unlimited long distance anywhere in the country. Yay! This will save me money!
I've been flitting back and forth between stories, trying to work towards some kind of update, but not being able to focus on any one story for very long. I know Anniversary is the big favorite, but I think DIM is probably next up. I haven't actually done anything new on that story in over a year, so I figure I ought to get something out. The second chapter of the mail order bride fic is started, but not terribly far along. Anniversary is the same way. London, Loyalties & PM&tYW haven't even popped up on my radar yet. I piddle with my N/P one-shot and my D/G one-shots here and there. I just lack focus right now. It's frustrating.
