Happy Sunday!

Hello people! James managed to get the A/C working again, so the house is slowly but surely cooling down. Hooray!

I am grubby. Spending the day running around in the heat tends to do that to me. I just can't be arsed to go shower right now, though. The dishwasher and the washing machine are both running, so I'll wait until I get ready for bed. I do feel icky, though.

Mer's team played well in the tournament, although they came in last. We had been bumped up into an older age bracket, playing teams from higher divisions than we're in, due to a lack of teams in the higher age groups signing up for the tourny. While they didn't win, they held their own, and they never gave up. Mer got stuck in goal for the last game because the usual goalie was sick. She did well, especially considering she hasn't played that position at all in a year or so, and then it was just to fill in for the usual keeper. So, yay for the Phoenix! This was good practice for the season, and we have another tourny next weekend. Hopefully we'll fare better there.
