Raise your hand if you thought the A/C issue would finally be resolved today, and I would be ordered a new unit. *looks around* No one? Yeah, me neither. Turns out we were correct.
After two and a half hours (or was it three?) of careful study, A/C chick determined she didn't know how to fix the problem, so I'll have to take off MORE time from work to have a more senior A/C dude come out and do more research. She seems to think there is a problem getting voltage to the unit. *headdesk*
On the plus side, since A/C non-fix-it chick was no help at all, I didn't have to shell out the $100 deposit today. Also on the plus side, it is very cool today. On the not-so-plus side, we have a heat pump. If it gets too cold, we just have to bundle up with blankets because our heater won't work either.
Pardon me while I go bang my head in a corner.
