Miles to go before I sleep

This weekend has gone by very quickly. I suppose time flies when you're scrubbing toilets and countertops. We've made a lot of progress but there is still a lot to do. The basement is a wreck. Meredith's been at her dad's for most of the weekend so her room and bathroom are nowhere near clean. *sigh*

Having done massive amounts of laundry over the last couple days, there are two questions that I cannot find answers to. First, how is it possible that there was that much dirty laundry and yet none of us has been forced to run around naked? Second, how can I still be missing two sweaters and a pair of sweatpants? It's like they just up and left the building.

Last night I made chicken carbonara. I saw Giada De Laurentiis make it on Everyday Italian one day and it looked really good. It turned out ok but I don't think I'll make it again. Kind of expensive and disappointing - not to mention FATTENING!

I told my boss that I'd move to the Chantilly office. Now I just have to break it to the guys I've been working with. They will not be pleased.

I love watching Everyday Italian because I adore the host, but she's yet to fix a thing I find remotely appealing to eat :P

This is the first receipe I've tried from there. I have a white mac & cheese recipe that I've already bought the ingredients for. Hopefully it will be yummy!
