RULES: Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks.
Forgive me if I've mentioned these things before. I'm fairly boring, so there aren't many things from which to choose.
1. I bite my nails. A lot. (I copied this from Jen, but it's true.)
2. Not really about me, but my daughter is a direct descendent of one of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence.
3. I am almost always able to remain friends with people I've dated. People seem to find this odd, but I have never been able to understand why. It seems logical to me that if someone has been important to me that I would still care about them even if the relationship changes.
4. I killed a hamster through neglect when I was a teenager. I still feel very guilty about that.
5. In elementary school, I carpooled to gymnastics with Oliver North's daughter, Sarah. His oldest daughter, Tate, is married to the priest of the Espiscopal church in my town. They are very nice folks, but he's got to work on making his sermons a bit more vigorous and coherent.
6. I voted for Bill Clinton and Al Gore. That was back before I realized I'm actually conservative.
7. I'm constantly dry and a little dehydrated. Before bed I always drink a glass of water, use saline nasal spray, lip balm, and moisturizer in addition to the other usual bedtime practices like brushing my teeth and hair.
8. I hate watching movies in which someone breaks a bone. No matter how many times I tell myself that the sound is not real, it still grosses me out.
9. While playing mini-golf about ten years ago, I managed to fall into the little stream that winded (wound?) through the range. I finished out the game soaking wet, covered in silt, with a bloody knee. James, Mer, Becky, and Manny were all in attendance and still tease me about it to this day.
10. The only place I've visited outside the U.S. is the Canadian side of Niagra Falls. I've been there twice.

Izzy is too cute. I love how stern she looks. You need to post a more recent pic of her! I bet she's getting huge.

I decided to pick a second favorite, since I already mentioned my love of you Counselor Troy icon. I must've stared at your icons for five minutes trying to decide. In the end, I decided on:
I love his expression. Very much "you are a stinking pile of dung, and I'd like to set you on fire".

But - I also had to pull this one out, simply because every time I see it I think someone has drawn pubes on Draco.

So can you not stand the sound of bones breaking on the show CSI either?
HAHAHAHA Oh man, that minigolf story is awesome. You should have called that time 'EXTREME Mini Golf'

And no, I can't stand the bone breaking sound anywhere. It oogs me out.

*giggle* I know, some things on CSI make me queasy, I can usually stand the bone sound. I can't stand the sound of people throwing up.

I like the silliness of it. Eek! Scary pink teddy! And it's always amused me when people climb on chairs in a panic.
How're you doing? I haven't seen you around much lately.

I'm tired, so I'm not going to post the actual icons, but I think my favorite is the olive green crayon one. The caption is exactly like something I would think. (And I use that crayon!)
