I arrived at my house just a little while ago. Mer's at her dad's place and James is out somewhere. It's just me and the furries. I have decided that the stuff in the trunk of the car can wait to be brought in, and I think I may lie down and take a nap. *eyes bed and notes the sheets have not been changed since I left* *wrinkles nose* Maybe I'll track down some fresh bedding first.
But still, yay for HOME.

And yay for clean sheets, too. It's amazing how nice it is to take a shower, then crawl into a bed with clean sheets. It's the feeling of clean toes against clean sheets. I may be a little over-enthusiastic about that, but it doesn't hurt anybody to be that way.
I really am glad you got home safely. Enjoy your nap, and your empty (except for furry friends) house.
