We got a call from the cat sitter. Mom's kitty, Punkin, was not doing well. The sitter took her to the emergency vet and ultimately Mom decided to put her down. She's 18 and has gone from 6 lbs. as of last October to just over 3 lbs. now. *sniffles* Punkin is the sweetest little cat. I'll miss her very much.
I also got a call from James letting me know that he's had to press charges against a boy Meredith knows. Meredith had told this boy that she didn't want to talk to him anymore and later James reinforced the message. Still, this kid has followed her to and from school, and the other night he grabbed her by the neck when she tried to walk away from him. When he followed her to school, the security officer saw him with a box cutter. Last night Mer spotted him waiting in the neighborhood for her to come home, and she had to wait until he gave up (at 11:30!) to get to the house. So, James called Mer's dad and they talked to the police. The kid will be picked up for assault and stalking. I'm not sure if he's 18 or not, so it remains to be seen whether he'll be charged as an adult or a child. *headdesk* Meredith hangs out with such winners.
Tomorrow we are giving this computer to my grandmother's church, so after that I won't be able to go online until I get home. I'll miss you all!

I'm sure Mer will be ok. I've found out that this guy is over 18, so hopefully he'll be sent away for at least a little while.

My niece had an ex-boyfriend stalker. He was quite a scary problem for a while. I hope Meredith takes up with... um... less troubled types from this point on.

*hugs* Aww, the poor cat. I lost mine around 4 and a 1/2 years ago, I know how it feels. It is horrible. Actually happened the same time that my grandma died too-- weird.

Aaaaww honey! My goodness! *holds you* I am so glad that James called Mer's Dad and they went after this dude. Mind you, I like Beana's way better. ;) The jerk.
