An eventful day

Today I threw Becky a baby shower. It went very well and I'm quite proud of myself. Things were pretty much all ready when the guests started arriving. We played games that had everyone giggling. I had enough food and drinks The simple decorations I bought looked nice. And Becky enjoyed herself and got very nice gifts. Woo! Go me!

This evening I got to talk to Chelley for a little bit. That was nice. Unfortunately we got cut off and I wasn't able to get back through to her.

I'm glad the baby shower is over, and that it went well. I think simple decorations are a good thing. It saves you from knocking yourself out.

I'm glad it's over, too! Organization is not my forte, so this sort of thing always has me stressed and panicky. All went well, though, so I'm happy.

I like simple decorations, too. Too much frill detracts from the real focus of the occasion, I think.

Did you see the pics of her chickens? Grace is growing so fast. *sigh* Lexi looks more and more like Tay, and Josie is just a sweet-a-mus-pea!

I did see them! We were talking about the fact that Lexi will start school this fall. So Weird!
