So the Dems are up in arms over Scooter Libby's sentence commutation. Boo hoo. I don't recall them getting worked up over Clinton's frantic last minute pardons.

Let's recap:

Here is a list of most of the folks pardoned or with sentences commuted by Clinton:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_pardoned_by_Bill_Clinton

It includes Marc Rich, who fled to Switzerland in 1983 rather than stick around to face charges of tax evasion and illegal trading with Iran during the hostage crisis. His wife, incidentally, is a big time financial supporter of the Dems.

You can read a fairly innocuous article about Marc Rich here:

So, the Dems didn't care about that, but commuting the jail time for Scooter Libby's part in the B.S. Plame affair is a travesty of justice? Please. Give me a break.

I think presidential pardons in general are bullshit. Like...you can commit a crime, but if the pres likes you or thinks it might be useful politically, he can just let you off the hook, essentially. Bullshit. All around.

I hope Scooter Libby is pardon completely. He took the fall for something ended up being a bunch of nothing - they got him on perjury (barely) and not what he was actually charged with which shows the case was non-existent anyway.

The dumbocrat whiners need to get off their effin' high horse for five effin' seconds and take a look around. In the grand scheme of things, Scooter Libby means NOTHING, no one single thing. They need to be more worried about immigration and terrorism because believe me, it will be just a matter of time before what is happening in England starts happening here.

*smites Pelosi* I can't stand that cow.
