As I sit here, trying to determine the 5 celebs I'd most like to bed (because I've been tagged for that meme that's going around, not because I'm a total horndog), my mind has wandered and I've had a few startling revelations.

Revelation #1 - None of the men on my shortlist of f***able celebs is American. Not one.

Revelation #2 - Very few of the men on my shortlist are there because of how pretty they are. In fact, the insanely pretty ones are the ones most in danger of being dropped for the most part.

As I was thinking about all this, I started considering which literary figures I would include on such a list. This led to further revelations.

Revelation #3 - Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy would not make my list. Stop gasping. In fact, the only Austen characters who pop immediately into my mind are Colonel Christopher Brandon and Mr. George Knightley.

Revelation #4 - There would not be a single canon Harry Potter character on the list. Bill Weasley is tempting, but there just isn't enough known about him. My Malfoy fetish involves fanon Malfoys.

And, completely without context, I leave you with the quote that's running around in my head.

"You think too much about Sam to suit me."

Y'know I don't know why it isn't literary characters instead of celebs, because if you really think about it aren't we more in like/love/lust with the character than the actual actor.

It's true, very often we are just falling in love with who the actors portray. Alas, no one has played my current literary love yet. There's no fanart to be found, either. I need to hunt down an artist and commission something because I really need a visual. *sighs*
