It's 2 a.m. and I've just finished reading Twilight. While I did enjoy the book quite a lot, I really want to smack Bella. Oh, and just what I need, another jealous and possessive, super hot, fictional guy to swoon over. 'Cause I didn't have enough of those already. *sigh* I'll have to start on the next book tomorrow while I'm waiting for Mer to finish practice.

My computer is working fairly well again, if you didn't guess.

The inevitable tragedy has occurred. My company has blocked LJ. No more workday posting for me. I think I'll wear black tomorrow today.

I should probably sleep now.

OMG

I know it is probably only a matter of time before the lj site is blocked here too. I'll die..... No, I'll have to learn how to like using the Mac and demand online time at home.

Well, I really do have one other naughty option....I can plug my laptop into the net here and still have the access I want. Bad, gp, bad.

Work environments are just trying to ruin our enjoyment. You'd think they had something better for us to do. **smirk**

Re: OMG

I know! It's not like they pay us to be here... or, well, something like that.

Unless it's a mountain lion.

I love Edward Cullen on a level previously only occupied by Draco Malfoy. Bella, however, does NOT deserve him, the whiny, self-obsessed, fickle- erm, I'll wait for you to finish the other two before I go into that. I love Alice, though. She could have a whole series written about her, as far as I'm concerned.

No daytime posting to LJ? How sad. Stupid company wanting you to work all the time...

Re: Unless it's a mountain lion.

I'm pretty darned fond of Edward myself. And Alice. And Emmett, actually. Bella is a bit of a whack job. I don't dislike her yet, but she's not very rational.

And yes, silly company whining about productivity and blah blah blah.

I usually want to smack Bella too. So I think that's the normal reaction. *nods* Just wait until the next book. *grins*

I'm on the fifth (or perhaps sixth, but I don't think so) Sookie book. So we should totally discuss ships and things the next time we're both around.

Well, at least it's not just me. Bella can be very frustrating.

You left, and I just was introduced to Quinn. A tiger, eh?

Also, I'm almost positive here, Eric for the win.

Hee.

Edward.

I love Edward. Just wait until you read 'Eclipse' -- then you're REALLY hate Bella. She's not my favourite character in the book - that's for sure!

You could see the Draco parallels too, right? Everyone else says he's more like Harry and I nearly gag every time I hear that.

And no Day-time LJ... that SUCKS!

I do see some similarities with Draco. Probably fanon Draco moreso than canon Draco. The only Harry trait I see is Edward's way of trying to separate himself from Bella for her own good. Harry was good at deciding what was best for others without their consent.

Oh you're so right. Another guy on my flist -- a H/G fan who never lets me forget how JKR actually writes Draco said he could only see Harry in Edward. Yeah... only in the one stupid thing Edward does! ;)

hhhmmmm... while I was in the bookstore this afternoon looking for The Amber Spyglass for Beth I happened to look up and see the books you are talking about....Good investment? I trust your judgment cause you haven't let me down yet *grins*
ah poop. That sucks sideways. I looked forward to your afternoon posts *pouts*.

The Twilight series is definitely worth reading. A little frustrating at times, but definitely worth reading.

I am so lost without LJ at work. I miss it horribly!

*Grins* Guess that library Hubby and I have been talking about is going to keep getting bigger and bigger.
