Why are there so many people who are willing to overlook the fact that he was a total fraud who Obliviated people on a regular basis, and who was intending to Obliviate Harry and Ron and leave them to be killed by the basilisk? Come on, folks, quit writing him off as quirky! He was not a good man!

/rant resulting from a less than stellar review

In other news, I used half of my Avobath bath bomb tonight. Hurray for fizzy, fragrant, green bathwater! I smell very nice now. Not that I was especially stinky before, mind. While soaking, I plotted a Ginny/Draco (non-smut) scene for 'The Proposal'. *grins happily*

I miss Emmie, but I hope she's having a great time at the retreat this weekend.

Richard (my brother-in-law) made really yummy mac & cheese tonight. Tomorrow he's making stuffed cabbage. I love living near people I like who can cook!

Mer is at the Taylor Swift/Brad Paisley concert tonight.

Mer and I are having lunch with my mom tomorrow.

I watched 'Knocked Up' the other night with Richard (the BFish-type guy). It was pretty cute. I have 'Miss Potter' here, too. I should watch that soon.

Bath bombs are awesome!

And I made brownies yesterday. Then I fixed a cheesy hashbrown casserole for dinner with a salad and mulitgrain french bread. Tonight was pot roast, oven roasted potatoes and onions, and snaps. Tomorrow will be roast beef hash served with homemade biscuits and mashed potatoes...

Bath bombs are lovely. I might have to split my Sex Bomb with Mer, though. She got all excited when she found out it makes the water pink.

Mmm, brownies. Got any leftover pot roast? I adore pot roast. Actually, I have one in my freezer and I bought some red wine recently... Maybe I'll have that later this week. I haven't had hash in years. Now I'm hungry for savory things. *eyes bowl of cereal with distaste*

Good point about Lockhart - people do tend to see him just as an over-egotistical man, yes.

Miss Potter was a sweet movie, plus lovely scenery :D

They really do. I've had a number of people read my story (which does make him a very bad man indeed) and say something like 'I could never imagine dear Gilderoy being so evil!' I always wonder if they actually read the book. Just goes to show that charm will allow you to get away with almost anything.

The promos looked cute. I'm thinking about taking it to my mom's today. She'd probably enjoy it.

I miss the funky Chicken, too. *sigh* When I spoke with her on Friday, she was a tad giddy about going, but she knew she would soak up some good stuff. She also made me feel better for it was during the time I had been trying to get these people to cooperate about this MRI business. *grrr*

The bath was lovely, if a bit cramped. My tub is one of those that's not rectangular but oval. That cuts down on my wiggle room considerably. It was still very nice, though!

My gosh, it is so hot today! I feel like someone doused me in icky water after driving around this afternoon. Blech. Isn't it supposed to be October?
