I had a nice weekend. We pretty much sat around all weekend, with minor house cleaning thrown in here and there. James and I played the Sims quite a lot.
Saturday night we went to Sam & Michelle's and had a lovely time. We ate pizza and played games. Michelle's kids from her first marriage were up for the weekend. Taylor is twelve; she's very smart and skinny and goofy. Austin is ten, I think. He's just the cutest. He's got wavy blond hair and a little pudgy belly.
Michelle told us that she and Sam are expecting! She just found out and apparently it's so early that the doctor couldn't determine a due date yet. They have to wait a week and do another blood test so that they can compare her levels and figure out how long she's been pregnant. Probably just 3 or 4 weeks.
Becky became an aunt late last week. Her brother, Patrick, and his wife had a baby boy. They named him Gavin. He's the first blond baby I've ever seen that was born with a lot of hair. All the blondies I've been around have been just about bald at birth. He's very cute. Meredith is staying home with a tummy ache today. I'll be getting off my butt and starting the drive in to work shortly. That's it for now.
