This morning while I was getting ready for work, the phone rang. I was near the one phone in the house that doesn't have Caller ID and I normally wouldn't have answered because I was running so late but James had just gone to the store and I thought it might be him. Here is the conversation that ensued.

Me: Hello?
Caller: May I speak to Jennifer K., please?
Me: Good Lord, I don't know how you got this number for her. She's my ex-sister-in-law.
Caller: Oh. Sorry to have bothered you.

Now, Jen is my brother Chris' ex. They were married in 1991 and split after about a year. Jen has lived in another state for over a decade. The last name the caller used is Jen's name from her second marriage, which ended 2 or 3 years ago. I've only lived in my house for about a year and I had to change my phone number when I moved in. How the hell did they get my phone number for Jen? I don't even think Jen has my new number. Very weird.

Speaking of Jen and Chris, though, check out my gallery for a picture of their daughter, Elizabeth. She's most beautimous. Lizzy and Meredith were born three months apart. Jen and I were pregnant seniors together. My parents were so proud. /sarcasm

That is really weird! Is that all he said to you? I'd be interested to know how he got the number!

Yeah, that was it. I'm sure it was some sort of telemarketing or collection call, although I didn't check the Caller ID before I left for work to see what the number was. It was bizarre, to say the least.
