I'm being monumentally unproductive at work today. Spring seems to finally be here and I just want to go out and enjoy the lovely weather. Today is a good day to use one of the two German phrases that I still remember from the class I took over a decade ago. Please forgive any spelling errors, it's been a long time. Die Sonne scheint und der Himmel ist blau. You capitalize nouns in German, right?
Check out my bitty kitty icon. It's my cat, Mia, when we first got her. She was about 5 or 6 weeks old, born to one of the feral cats in my old neighborhood, and she weighed 1 lb. 2 oz. I love how the lotion bottle provides a sort of measuring stick to show just how tiny she was. Mia is almost fearless. She probably weighs 7 or 8 lbs. now and she bullies our bigger cats. Her best friend is our 60 pound dog. She's just a badass. While our other pets run off in shame when we catch them getting into something they shouldn't, Mia just looks at us like, 'What?'. She lives to attack paper products. No toilet paper is safe in her presence.
