So, I'm working from home today. I have my laptop perched on the two-drawer filing cabinet, and I've borrowed the comfier chair that usually gets used with my home PC, rather than spend all day sitting on a metal folding chair. I am too short for this chair. Normally, I pull my legs up on it because the PC desk is tall enough that I can roll right under it. Not so with the filing cabinet. I have to lean forward, and pulling my legs up on the chair doesn't work well with that position. So, here I sit - feet dangling several inches off the floor, and enough room between my back and the back of the chair that at some point one of my cats will decide that's a great place to chill out. I feel like Edith Ann. Is anyone out there old enough to know who that is?

Meredith will be home around 1:00. I need to finish up something for work, shower, take her to get an x-ray, and get to her dental appointment by 2:50. Well, we'll give it a shot.

On my home PC, I am downloading the first three episodes of 'Brotherhood', starring Jason Isaacs. *sigh* Many thanks, Myn, for introducing me to BitComet!

I did not achieve my goal of writing a chapter last night. I did work a little on Anniversary, but there's still a long way to go before I can call it a chapter. Myn gave me one of her plot bunnies to play with, and it's AWESOME. So, now that's added to the to-write list. Recounting, that list is: Anniversary, Loyalties, London, The Pursuit of Happiness (Mail Order Bride fic), Draco in Mugglemagicland, Professor Malfoy and the Young Weasleys, What I Make Myself Believe (one-shot), The Tempest (otherwise known as the storm smut one-shot), the Gambling smut one-shot, Myn's bunny, and the Neville/Pansy one-shot.

That's all the procrastinating I can do for now.
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.

Hmm, let's see if you can guess what these two are talking about. I'm actually posting a couple extra sentences because this passage cracks me up.

"How would I know, I've never been married."

"Is it always the same for you?"

"Well, in some ways, yes."

"In what ways?"

"Well, so far, it seems to be moist."

"Moist?"

"Yeah, but I can't say it's always that way, just in my experience. Maybe we should ask a harlot?"

"Better yet," Joshua said, looking around, "I'll ask Titus. He's older, and he looks as if he's sinned a lot."

This exerpt is from 'Lamb - The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal' by Christopher Moore. I love this book.
