Today's entry from my copy of The Daily Book of Positive Quotations.

I'm trying to keep that in mind as I adjust from my expectation of replacing two of Mer's car's tires at around $200, to the reality of replacing all four dry-rotted tires, the rear brakes, and potentially the brake cylinder, for a price somewhere north of $800 if it all needs to be done.
Think Congress will funnel some bailout money my way? Me neither.
Anyway, Abe said a lot of wise things. He is also the speaker of my favorite quote of all time:
"If you look for the bad in people, expecting to find it, you surely will."
True words, those.
