Happy Easter! (an hour or so late)

Hey there, flisters! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Hurray for Jesus and His grace! Congratulations to elle_blessing on her baptism, too.

I'm about to head to bed, but here are some random thoughts in no particular order.

- I miss Robert Irvine. I don't care that he lied about his resume, he should be doing Dinner Impossible. My crush on him only has a little to do with this.

- I really need to go get my jaw fixed. I have TMJ. It was really bad on the left side and I had that operated on about 15 years ago. Now the right side has gotten to the point that it's becoming a nuisance and giving me headaches.

- I'm debating giving up my friends only status. I did it hastily, and frankly, most of what I say here is no big secret. I would still lock really personal things, but I wonder sometimes if the overall exclusivity is really protecting me from anything or if it just makes my non-fans assume I'm talking smack behind a wall. Do I care? Am I being paranoid and arrogant? These are the questions. It's just livejournal, after all, and I doubt I'm such a fascinating person that anyone really spends time pondering the reasons I feel the need to 'hide'. I'm rambling. Let's move on.

- Things are happening for Romy (one of my rpg characters) that make me very happy. It's taken forever to get to this point, and I think she's earned a little happiness. :D

- You can pre-order Season One of Sons of Anarchy on Amazon now. There's no release date listed, though, so I'm hesitant to do so. It is a decent price, though. Mmmm. Jax Teller.

- I really like corned beef with cabbage, potatoes, and carrots. Good stuff.

- When I make the effort, I'm pretty damned good at my job.

I don't have it very often. It's one of those things my mom makes, so I eat it on occasion when I go over to have a meal with her. The one time I tried to make it, it came out like a brick.

Just one more reason to visit Australia, though! :D

Sometimes I wonder if my friends only status matters either. I mean, I talk about laundry and moviesore than anything else, and I'm nor really embarrassed if people knew how much laundry I had... I think, one of these days when I feel ambitious, I'll go back and look at my posts, and friends lock the stuff I care about, and just go prvate again. We'll see...

I've been wondering about the Friends Only status too. I actually did it because of work; I work for a state law enforcement agency and they're VERY particular about what is said about them on the web. I think I've only said once or twice exactly who I work for, but still. Other thing about that is, is that they're all very tech savvy and I think some of them are very nosy. I have my wedding blog and I'm not sure some people wouldn't back trace my personal journal.

I actually don't like the friend's only status, but that's why I did it. I think I might consider about what you might be doing, and friend's locking what needs to be friend's locked. Hmmm. It has great appeal to me since I didn't really want to friends lock in the first place, except out of paranoia for work people who are nosy tattletalers.

In other news, THANKS! It was really exciting and ... yeah, there's no real way to explain, it but YAY! for getting baptized on EASTER!! :D :D

Yeah, I will probably go back to having public entries as my default and f-locking only what I need to. I haven't ever had trouble with trolls and only minimal issues with spam, so I'm okay with it.

No, you can do it on an individual journal entry. There's also a way to make it so friend's lock is the default for posting, though.

Oh, thanks! I haven't had a lot worth sharing lately, but I do read my flist. I'm super jealous of all the traveling you do. :D

I didn't realize you were still following Caliga! That makes me so happy! Yes, I literally danced in my seat when we wrote that scene. There's more squee-able stuff coming up in the next couple weeks.

That is the ring I am looking at for brad to give me as a promise ring. I dont know if he is ever going to get me one, he hasn't spoken about it in a long long time, but it should be happening sometime around our one year.. but yea. That chadalgh ring :)
