Homes again

Thanks to everyone who sent well-wishes for my mom. She decided not to go to the hospital after all, but to wait for her appt with the cardiologist on Monday and see what they say. Her regular doctor wanted her to be admitted last week, but Mom has a thing about being in the hospital and asked what they would do for her there that she couldn't do at home. The answer was that they would give her treatments with a nebulizer (sp?). In the end, Mom got a nebulizer for use at home.

Convoluted? Yep. My family has character.

Anyway, I'm home again. I spent most of the day at Mom's and did a little work around her house. I'm tired and have a headache, but I also have scenes needing my attention, so I'll putz around a bit online, I think.

I was sorry to hear this, hon. I'm sorry I didn't know sooner. Thank goodness she is at home and resting now. Hopefully you will get some rest, too. I hope her doc appointment goes well on Monday.

*HUGS* Thanks, Urs. Mom was supposed to call and let me know what the doctor said, but she didn't. I'll have to give her a call in the morning.

I'm glad you're starting to feel better, too. Lord knows you had to wait long enough for relief!

You're lucky you even got her to go to the hospital! When my dad's blood pressure is up & he gets short of breath & has intense headaches he just sits on the couch with his hands above his head & "waits it out". I'm glad she's being somewhat cautious & took the nebulizer option at least. I'll be sure to keep her in my prayers, Katie. Now you need to go get some rest. <3
