Well, I'm trying something new. I'm outlining a story before I start writing it. This may not seem like a big deal to you organized people, but trust me, IT IS. Usually I get a tiny flicker of an idea in my head and I just jump headlong into storywriting. The result? A bunch of stories that are still unfinished because I get to a certain point and think, "What's the end? Where am I going with this?" But not this time! For Pud's challenge, I am outlining my story and asking all the pertinent questions (and answering them, too!) BEFORE I start it. What a nice change. Granted, the story will probably be a longish one-shot, and so only requires a little bit of planning, but I'll take my victories where I can claim them. Yay me!

More fic stuff below the cut.

Statuses of my other WIPs:

Anniversary - Haven't even started the next chapter, still in self-debate about what point is the end and how much detail to include regarding Draco and Lucius' trip to the states.

Loyalities - A good chunk of the next chapter is written. I'm getting frustrated that it doesn't seem to be moving forward as quickly as I want it to. The conflict really begins after Draco and Ginny get together, so I need to GET THEM THERE.

Draco in Mugglemagicland - A little of Ch. 3 is written. I have little scenes in mind, but no real plot. This story is a classic example of what happens when I don't plan ahead. It may end up being more of a series of one-shots than a cohesive tale.

London - I haven't really worked anymore on this one. I have it reasonably well planned out in my mind. I just need to transfer it to the computer.

Professor Malfoy and the Young Weasleys - This one is so God awful cliched that I've never posted it anywhere other than ff.net. It's incredibly predictable and probably Mary-Sueish to boot. Proving that people don't give a damn about quality, more people are signed up for alerts on this story than any of my others, except Anniversary. I haven't worked on it in forever. I'll get there eventually.

Other stuff I've written:

Idiot - A little James/Lily one-shot.
Charming Memories - A dark Gilderoy Lockhart one-shot. I'm rather proud of this one, but the topic may be disturbing to some people.
Black New Year - A one-shot look at the Black sisters on New Year's Eve. Written for a challenge on MNFF.
Christmas at Grimmauld Place - A drabble written at Christmas time in the D/G thread of MNFF. *cries for loss of Madame P's, even though I should really get over it*
Not Enough - A very short conversation between Draco and Ginny regarding his upcoming marriage.
Yule Ball - Ginny's reflections on her evening with Neville.

I think that's it. This was mainly for my own benefit, so I could take stock of where things are.
