Today I helped Becky out at a wine festival/craft show. (Obligitory plug: www.auntbeckyscandleshoppe.com) So, my day went like this:
Woke up around 7:30.
Took Picabo out.
Fed the cats.
Realized I was completely out of dog food.
Went to grocery.
Got gas.
Fed Picabo.
Showered.
Drove to Becky's and hopped in her car.
Went to Starbucks.
Arrived at craft show ~ 9:40.
Set up booth until 10:30.
Sit around for 30 min. until public is allowed in.
Stand most all day, being friendly and trying to be helpful.
Get call from James that Richard and the kids have decided to come over.
Tear down booth and pack up car.
Leave craft show.
Wait while Becky runs to Staples.
Get back in my car.
Arrive home at 7:30.
Play with niece and nephews.
Talk with brother-in-law.
Check on my container garden.
Giggle at Maiken (age 2) singing Christian hip hop.
Debate with James and Richard about where to go for dinner.
Decide at 8:45 we'll go to La Chocita.
Drive to restaurant.
Argue with Meredith over the need for protein in her diet.
Eat yummy food.
Say goodbye to extended family.
Arrive home at 10:30.
Explain to Meredith that no, she may not go out with Ray tonight, it is already close to 11:00.
Agree to let her sit on front steps and talk to Ray.
Get on computer.
Here I sit, very, very tired.
Plans for tomorrow: Clean, get haircut, try to make it to church, have Meredith pack for her trip.
