I am a slacker

Today, I took the day off. Just because. Initially, I told myself that I could work on fanfic and re-load Photoshop so I could do my banners that are due tomorrow. There is laundry that needs to be folded, dishes that need to be done. Did I do any of that? No. I sat on my rear all day long. And you know what else? I don't care. :P Sometimes you just need to take a day. So there.

Meredith got back in town yesterday, but she's still at her dad's. I'll pick her up tomorrow after I leave work.

There is always laundry. I stay on top of washing clothes pretty well, it's the folding that I get behind on. Right now I can't even see the couch in my basement - it's been taken over by the pile of clean clothes.

You should definitely allow yourself a day here or there. Every once in awhile I just need that time to myself. Weekends are lovely, but James and Meredith are home then, too. Solitude is sorely lacking from my day to day life. That's motherhood for you.
