It's getting ready to storm here. The sky's gotten dark and the wind is blowing, and all I want to do is go outside and stand on the loading dock at the back of my office building to feel the breeze. I love storms. I love listening to the rumble of the thunder. I love love watching lightning shoot across the sky. I love the sound of rain on the roof. I just love storms.
It's just started. The rain is drumming softly on my window and there is a steady roll of thunder. No loud cracks so far, just lovely background noise. Every once in awhile there's a flash of light. It's odd how calming it is. I love this. Nature is amazing.
Ok, I really had not intended for this post to be an ode to Mother Nature, it just sort of happened. I know Pud is thinking that I'm nuts, storms don't hold the same appeal to her AT ALL. I hope you've escaped the rain, Cyn, and that it's just my part of the state being soaked.
Hee! The first loud thunder clap just sounded, and Becky came over to my office and jokingly asked if I was awake. I have to say, it's nice to work with someone you've been friends with for half your life (almost). In general, I'm a pretty fortunate person.

*grin* Yes! I love storms, too :) I actually just enjoyed this...greatly! I am pretending that this is happening outside of my work, where it really isn't with the temp being 92 degrees and me not wanting to know what the index is :( , and no rain in sight for who knows how long...aaaaaahhhhh, I can "feel" the breezy wet on my face :D
