Ok, you know the last batch of
twinkly icons I made? Well, two of them showed that Ginny's nipples were erect. She was wearing a shirt, but you could see that they were perked up. Photobucket took them down, saying they violated the terms of service. Just those two. Now, one of them has been restored, and one is still gone. What the heck? They are almost EXACTLY THE SAME! One is slightly darker, and slightly closer - and that's the one they restored. I do not understand those people. First off, how are clothed nipples indecent? Secondly, what's the difference between one and the other. It's the same picture! In the grand scheme of things, this is not a big deal, but honestly, what is wrong with people? And how exactly did they notice these two particular icons out of the masses of stuff saved on that site?
Random question: Does anyone on my flist read 'Diminished' by LadyRhiyana? Didya see the new chapter? Didya? Didya?
Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.
My mom was inspired by Katharine Hepburn and Kate from the Taming of the Shrew. My name is spelled Katherine, though.
Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?
Nope, my daughter's been wandering around nameless for years now. We just say, 'Hey, girl!' and she usually knows we mean her. *snerk*
My daughter is Meredith Theresa. If she'd been a boy, she'd have been Jonathan Shane (which, if you break them down to their origins, translates to John-John). I've had a host of other ideas, though. It's lucky that James and I haven't had any children together because we can't agree on anything.
If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?
I doubt I really want to know. My mother would've named my eldest brother 'Kye Oliver' if my dad hadn't stopped her.
If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?
I dunno. I like Kate pretty well.
Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly?
With Katherine, there's always the K or C issue, and the 'erine' or 'ryn' issue. People could muck up my maiden name like nobody's business, though. Vail. Four simple letters, and yet people had the hardest time with it.

I love that you are named after Kate from Taming of the Shrew. That is one of my favourites! My middle name (Jae) was my mom's favourite aunt, I think, but my first name was just random. Sort of, anyway. And Mom refused to entertain the idea that I could possibly be a boy. So I would have been NoName if I'd been a boy! Hee.
