Sorry this has taken so long. I'm having problems with LJ (my posts aren't showing) and I've been bogged down at work and I'm just now reading the flist. Gah!

1. What is your personal theme song?
Depends on which mode I'm in. If it's silly Gina, then Barbie Girl by Aqua. If it's cynical Gina, then most likely Science of Selling Yourself Short by Less Than Jake. If it's sad Gina, then Jealous of the Moon by Nickel Creek. If it's happy Gina, then Life Is Wonderful by Jason Mraz. I can think of a song for any occasion!

2. What song are you embarrassed to love (but love anyway)?
Love You More by Celine Dion. That song gets to me, man.

3. What is the first song you ever danced to with a member of the opposite sex?
Waterfalls by TLC. Yeah, and Achey, Breaky Heart played immediately following. So romantic.

4. What's your favorite Christmas song?
The Christmas Medley (O Holy Night, Silent Night, O Come All Ye Faithful)

5. What's the last new song you loved?
Slow Dancing In a Burning Room by John Mayer. I never thought I would like him, but I find myself listening to his new CD. I'm glad he finally grew up and started making more jazz-inspired music.

6. What song do you think would be the best to listen to while having sex (Closer by NIN is ineligible)?
Songs like Let's Get It On and such would probably just make me giggle so I'll say Sweet Afton from Nickel Creek. It's very soft and melodic.

7. What song makes you think about High School?
The Reflex by Duran Duran. Duran Duran basically defined my high school experience. Gosh I love Simon LeBon!

8. What song makes you think about Middle School?
Anything from Hanson. I never fell into the whole boy band phase, but I went a wee bit nuts over these kids!

9. What is your favorite song from the 40's, 50's, 60's (etc.- can be one from "the past" in general or one from each era)?
From before I was born: Piano Man by Billy Joel. Sends shivers down my spine!

10. What is your favorite cover?
Come On Eileen by Save Ferris, the whole Greased CD by LTJ, and Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah.

Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton reminds me of my favorite uncle who passed away last year from lung cancer. He took me to my first concert and sang this to me the entire ride there. Always brings a smile and a tear.

Ever since I found out you love TMBG and LTJ whenever I listen to either of them I think of you!
