I've been sorting through Meredith's clothes, pulling out the things that either don't fit or that she won't wear anymore. Most of it will go to our friend Michele's daughter Taylor or a local thrift store, but there are a few nicer items that I thought I'd offer up to anyone on here that would like them. Once I get my camera back from Richard & Tracey, I can put pictures up of anything you might like to see.

I may find more, but here are a few items:

- A&F tan pants, size 0, low rise, flared, very good condition - Mer hasn't worn them enough to even scrape up the bottoms.

- Miss Sixty pink ribbed pants, I think they are size 27. These were advertised as low rise, but they aren't really. I couldn't return them.

- Betsey Johnson mini-dress, rust with gold, size tag is missing but probably sm/med, stretchy material. I bought this second hand, and it's got some little pulls, but it's still very wearable.

American Eagle green v-neck sweater, size small, good condition.

Victoria's Secret 'Body by Victoria' wireless bras, size 34B. Varying amounts of use, but with plenty of wear left in them. I bought them when Meredith would only wear wireless bras, now she'll only wear bras with underwire.

Well, those don't fit her anymore. She is pretty small, though. Usually wears a 4 these days. Her dad is about 6' tall, and maybe 140 soaking wet. It's obvious which of us Mer takes after. (Hint: It ain't me.)

She was really getting close to being scary-thin about a year and a half ago. She was very lean from playing soccer almost for about a year without any real off time and she wasn't eating properly. See how she's swimming in her uniform? Image (http://photobucket.com/)

Size 4 isn't any better. I'm still pouting. But I am glad she isn't a size 0 anymore. Come to the dark side, Meredith. We have big boobs and wide hips and all the goodies you can eat!

Hee. Girls who wear Size Skinny-Ass Bitch (tm) unite! Or something :P

From: [identity profile] maniacalmuse.livejournal.com

You know, I'm going to have to play devil's advocate about the weight issue and say that being skinny is really not all it's cracked up to be all the time. For instance, the latest work rant on my lj... I believe the quote was "If she weren't so anorexic looking and actually had an ass on her people'd take her seriously". And then there's the whole everyone thinks skinny = snobby bitch thing. Yes, bitch = true, but not so much the snobby bit :P

I'd volunteer for the clothing but it would not do to have a bigger wardrobe than I already have. Narcissa Malfoy would hate me and kill me in my sleep.

Being overly thin is no less hassle than being overly heavy, I'm sure. You get 'snobby bitch' and I get 'lazy moron'.

I wouldn't want Narcissa too lose her cool like that - not very refined that behavior - so I suppose you'd better decline.

Sweater? *hasa thing for sweaters* What size small? Also... size 0? Phsa, all my momma gave me was bad eyes and w i d e hips.

The green sweater is too small for Mer now, and she's about a size 4.

I do have another pink sweater, which Meredith doesn't care for, that's really super soft and cut larger than the green one. Here's a pic from the one time Meredith wore it.

Also, to the bras.. B?! Wow. Haven't seen those days in a while. OMG... less than 4... Gah. I'd be like... oozing out all over.

Heh. For Mer, the 'B' cup is more wishful thinking than actual fact. She could wear an 'A', but won't.

Erm.. *raises hand* Pick me?

The pink pants I think I would have to try on, but I'm definitely volunteering for the dress, the sweater [if it wasn't taken], and the bra. B is wishful thinking for me, too, but *shrugs* whatever. 34A is actually quite close.

*bounces* I feel special.

Oh, and while I'm at it, have you read Draconis and Ginevra by cinnamon badge? If so, we need to talk about it. *nods* If not, you.. should. *hee*

You got it! I'll let you know if I come across anything else that might fit you. I think Ayla has decided that the green sweater would not fit her, so I can pass that on. I'll go ahead and send the pink pants. If they don't work for you, just pass them on to a friend or charity.

I have read Draconis and Ginevra. I kept praying for a happy ending, but it was not to be. The whole 'Romeo & Juliet' theme probably should have given that away, I know, but I'm ever hopeful.

*hugs* I hope you're having a fabulous time skiing! Merry Christmas!
