Hey everybody! I hope all of you who are celebrating Thanksgiving today have a wonderful day filled with family, friends, and many other things to be thankful for. Actually, I wish that for everybody, whether you are celebrating the holiday or not.

And [livejournal.com profile] grammypat, thank you for the pumpkin pie! It's my favorite!
I hope everyone who celebrated it had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I love and appreciate every one of my friends, both here and in RL. Thank you all for brightening my life. I'm a better person for knowing you.

AND, for all my whining, my mom did a yummy pork roast with cherries and lemon and bay leaves. She also bought a turkey breast and cooked that for me. *beams* We had mashed sweet potatoes, Waldorf salad, carrots and parsnips, stuffing, green beans with almonds, and pumpkin and cherry pies. Later on I indulged in some peppermint ice cream, too. Yum!

We watched the original (and far better) 'Cheaper By the Dozen' and then 'Love Actually', and we dozed. Unfortunately, the weather had given me a headache and as the day progressed I was feeling pretty lousy in general. Originally I had planned to go over to Richard & Tracey's place in the evening, but I just didn't feel up to it. I got home around 9:30 or 10:00 last night, fed the kitties (Picabo was with James), and went to bed. James got home around 1:00 in the morning and I joined him watching TV from about 1:30 - 2:30. We joked that if we stayed up a little longer we could make the early bird sales this morning.

Overall, despite not feeling well, it was a good day. Mer was with her dad's family, but I spoke to her for a little bit.

Thus ends my fascinating recitation of my Thanksgiving Day.
