My lease in P'Ville is over. My stuff is out of the house, which is now pretty clean. (I didn't do the oven - sue me.) My new place looks more large a storage unit than an apartment, but I'm living there, Mer's there, and the cats are there.

Thank God.

Phone and computer still not unpacked, along with pretty much everything else I own. People at work will start wondering if I own another pair of pants soon. It's still a work in progress, but at least that progress can be confined to Manassas now.

Again, thank God.

I'm very tired. And rather stiff and sore.

I checked my mail for the first time yesterday, so I wouldn't have gotten a letter until then anyway. I'd love to get one, though. I need to send some out myself.

I miss you, too. Hopefully I'll have everything up and running in the next couple days (the computer, at least). You'd pass out if you saw my apartment right now. There is a path straight from the door to my bedroom that passes Mer's room and does a little jog through the kitchen. Nothing else is accessible. I have WAY TOO MUCH stuff. I'll be making frequent drops at the Salvation Army store down the street.

Hooray! It got there!

You're very welcome. I had fun trying to pick things out. Medium seemed like a good bet for a tallish, athletic girl, but I was a little worried.

I got The Academy Is... from my friend Gina (castoffstarter above). She leads me to cool music all the time. The other stuff is different. I hope you'll like it, but I won't be offended if it's not your taste. I like some odd stuff. I have a list of the songs on the two mixed CDs typed up on my home PC. I'll send them to you once I have that up and running again. That way you'll know who to look for if you like something, and who to stay away from if you don't!

I'm glad you and your Mum like the sparkler shirt. I thought it was really cute.
