I got mail from Gina! The Bean wrote me the greatest haiku ever. *loves my GB*
This week has been so stressing. It's made me very bitchy. Poor Mer has had me on her case for DAYS. Rawr! Hiss! Spit!
I has everyone (of age) read HumbugGirl's Sub-Rosa one-shot series? The first one is Positions of Power. The second is The Secret Keeper. And, the third is The Gift Giver. God I love kink. If you like D/G smut, check her out. Seriously. (ETA: I've realized that there are two additional installments on her LJ!

Tomorrow I'm going to the grocery store and buying stuff so I can make Frontier Chowder. Becky called me last weekend to ask me something about the recipe and I haven't been able to get it out of my head since. I wanted to make it tonight, but Mer needed the car to meet her dad for dinner. *pouts* Tomorrow! Frontier Chowder! Yum! I can't find my recipe, but here's the gist of it:
Updated!
Ground turkey, browned
1 can condensed Bean with Bacon soup
1 can water
1 can Bean with Ham soup
1 can corn
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can tomato soup (condensed)
Fry some bacon and crumble it over the top.
I have no idea why it's called Frontier Chowder, as it doesn't seem particularly frontier-like, nor especially chowder-y. It's good comfort food, though, and easy as can be.
I should also make chili and beef barley stew soon. And maybe some chicken soup with rice (Sipping once, sipping twice, sipping chicken soup with rice! Maurice Sendak owns my soul.) Thank God for cold weather. I love soups and stews! Oh, and I have a pot roast in the freezer... *sigh*
